50 Jahre lang ehrenamtlich bei der Hospizgruppe engagiert

Vor 60 Jahren wurde das Kirchheimer Seniorenzentrum St. Hedwig eröffnet. Die heutige Bewohnerin Maria Thaler hat musiziert und blieb der Einrichtung auch danach verbunden. Noch in diesem Jahr wird gefeiert. Das ursprünglich am 11. Juli geplante Fest wird wegen der angesagten Hitze verschoben.

Maria Thaler kennt das Kirchheimer Seniorenzentrum seit seiner Eröffnung, an der die heute 91-Jährige sogar selbst beteiligt war. „Meine Familie hat nur zehn Minuten entfernt gewohnt, und wir hatten mit Bekannten eine kleine Musikgruppe. Zur offiziellen Einweihung wurden wir damals gefragt, ...
