Es ist eine Reise durch die USA, ins „Nomadland“. Gezwungen, in ihrem Transporter zu leben, hält „Fern“, die Protagonistin, sich mit saisonalen Gelegenheitsjobs über Wasser. Mal zusammen mit Gleichgesinnten, die wie sie in einer von Rezession gebeutelten Welt keinen Platz mehr finden. Dann wieder ist sie alleine unterwegs in den schier unendlichen Weiten Nordamerikas. Begleitet von der Schönheit der Landschaft ist aber auch die Einsamkeit ihr ständiger Begleiter - und all jene Probleme, die ein Leben auf der Straße mit sich bringt. Der oscar-prämierte Film ist heute Abend um 20.30 Uhr im Central-Kino in Kirchheim zu sehen. pm/Foto: pr
